At Rocky Mountain Land Scrapers & Concrete, we are proud to be a family owned and operated business rooted in the Cotopaxi community.
Brandon and Ally both grew up in Cotopaxi and have deep ties to the area. Brandon has always had a passion for construction and heavy equipment. He spent several years working for a commercial construction company, where he gained hands-on experience operating heavy equipment and completing a wide variety of concrete projects. In 2020, Brandon transitioned from traveling construction work to becoming a correctional officer so he could stay closer to home and focus on building a family.
Ally grew up working in her family’s locally owned café for nearly 20 years, learning the value of hard work and customer service from a young age. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting along with a degree in Math Education, and taught middle and high school math from 2016–2022. After the birth of their daughter, Ally chose to step away from teaching to stay home and focus on raising their family.
Brandon’s passion for construction never faded, and when the opportunity arose to start their own business, the Kohl family jumped at the chance. Today, Rocky Mountain Land Scrapers & Concrete is built on hard work, honesty, family values, and a commitment to serving the community they proudly call home.
